[Kurama makes a barely audible thoughtful sound and shifts into his fox form. He slips back around Viné and settles in his lap comfortably.]

[Oh— there's a surprised blink as Kurama does that? And then his gaze softens as Viné relaxes a little...]

I'm used to it. Considering the 'trickster' label, it's understandably easier for people to default to a lack of trust.

I tricked some of the former kings of hell into believing one was going to betray the other. They took each other out and I took over in place of them.
