[Akira's expression shifts to... something a little more neutral, then, as he carefully observes Viné.]

[Kurama sighs quietly. Then he reaches out, hands finding the knot of the blindfold. They don't move to undo it yet, but they're there.]

Promise on your true name and your seal, Viné, and yes, let Akira feel you.

[ Even more hesitantly? He will allow Akira to feel a swell of frustration, fear, anger, and... sadness. ]

Akira's expression tenses when he feels those emotions. There's still wariness evident in his eyes.]

[Kurama nods agreement to Akira's decision and moves behind the other demon. Then his fingers gently unpick the knot and pull the blindfold away.]

... before reluctantly sighing and letting it be revealed again. Unnaturally red (far redder than Ren's) eyes blink a few times before there's a swell of obvious relief. ]

[ It's probably clear he's bit salty, but he sighs and does the best dismissive have wave he can manage. ]

[Akira's gaze softens just a little at that relief... before he gives a frustrated sigh and looks away.]

So what's your real reason for revealing yourself?

[His gaze flicks back to Viné, on edge, but stubborn.]

It's fair, Akira. The sort of lifespans demons and spirits have... Boredom is almost as deadly an enemy as an equal in combat. Without interest, what is the point?

[There's a sort of rueful understanding in Kurama's tone as he leans back and shifts to a more comfortable position. Avoiding boredom is part of why he plays so much.

The other part is just because he's a fox.]

[Kurama considers that response with a thoughtful hum.]

Then, after a flicker of frustration surfaces on his face, he sighs quietly and... forces the guard back down, allowing Akira access to his emotions, once again. Both hands curl into tight fists. ]
